Cookie Policy

Thank you for visiting our website. Our website, ozanalegal.cz, uses cookies to enable and optimize your experience on the site.

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the button below or the footer link.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small, simple text files that your device stores when you use our website. Without these files, using the website would be more complicated and less user-friendly. Thanks to cookie settings, you don’t have to re-enter the same information. They also help us understand how you use the website and how we can make it more user-friendly.

What are the different types of cookies?

Based on the duration of use, we distinguish between:

  • short-term cookies, which are deleted immediately after you close your browser (these cookies are necessary for the website to function properly);
  • long-term cookies, which remain stored for an extended period even after you close your browser, depending on your browser settings (these cookies are designed to help you navigate the website more easily, and you can delete them manually at any time); we retain some records for up to 12 months, unless a shorter or longer retention period is necessary for security reasons or to resolve technical incidents.

Depending on the purpose and function of our website, we distinguish between:

  • essential cookies, which are necessary for navigating the website, using its basic features, and ensuring the website’s security; they do not collect information about you for marketing purposes or track which web pages you have visited - we only store your consent to the use of cookies so that the banner does not appear on every visit;
  • analytical cookies, which collect information about how you use our website, but do not collect any information that could identify you - all information collected is anonymous and is used solely to improve our website and to determine what interests our website users. Once you have given your consent, we track visits, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, referrer, UTM parameters, and basic device/browser data; to distinguish between visits, a random session ID is stored in localStorage, and the backend also stores a hash of the IP address, user-agent, approximate geographic location, page visited, and event type;
  • Google Maps: The map on the Contact tab will not load until you enable external content from Google Maps, which may process data in accordance with Google’s own terms and conditions. Until then, the Google iframe will not load.

Depending on which entity creates and stores cookies on your device, we distinguish between:

  • first-party cookies, which are created directly by us as the data controller and website operator (these are necessary and analytical cookies); and
  • third-party cookies, which are created by data controllers other than us, the website operator (specifically, Google Maps).
